With the recent rise of ISIS followed by Donald Trump’s Immigration ban, the status of Muslims all over the world has faced a setback. Being a Muslim has now become more of a challenge with other Non-Muslims raising a questionable stare at them every time. The followers of the religion of peace are now at a war with their own existence.

India is not spared either with issues of mob lynching, intolerance and what not finding its roots to disrupt the life of every Indian Muslim. Unlike other countries though, Muslims in India do not face the warlike situation. Not because of anything else but because of the kind hearts of Indian majority, Indian Muslims are still able to enjoy a peaceful life.

For a non-muslim, the general image of any Muslim is of a man wearing a Kurta with some long beard. However, just like every other religious belief, Islam too doesn’t force you to mend your ways of living your life. The stereotype that prevails in most of the Non-Muslims’ minds is more of a misconception.

To break that misconception, a poet, Husain Hydari has come up with a beautiful poem. The poem describes the life of a present day Indian Muslim. It tells us that it is not what we do in our day-to-day life that makes us a true Muslim but it is the belief in our hearts that makes us a real ‘Musalmaan’.

Wasn’t that a worthy watch? In simple words, the motto of the poem is to explain that a Muslim life is in itself a Jihad (struggle) and doesn’t need any extra extreme proof to show your love for God. Do let us know what you felt after watching this lovely poem in our comments section below.
