Karni Sena has protested enough against the movie, but now, after watching the film, one thing we can say is that “Karni Sena will be proud of the film”.

Padmaavat has glorified the Rajput culture in an efficient manner & no one can deny that. In fact, we felt privileged that we got to see a grand 3-hour movie like Padmaavat. Right from the acting, to the visuals to the songs, everything was A-Grade.

Background

Basically, the plot revolves around the beautiful love story of Rani Padmavati essayed by Deepika Padukone and Maharawal Ratan Singh essayed by Shahid Kapoor. Things turn worse when Alauddin Khilji i.e. Ranveer Singh decides to fight the Chittor war for capturing Rani Padmavati.

Acting

Acting wise, we just have one word for the actors, “Superb”. Be it Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone or Ranveer Singh, everyone has given their best for this movie. Their performances are very engaging & give us a feel of the real characters.

Deepika Padukone essays the role of a queen with 100 percent perfection; her looks, her language and her grace, everything is worth an applause. She has been able to pull-off the royal look very nicely. Even Shahid Kapoor has done total justice to his role of King of Mewar; his character reflects the bravery and strength that was very much needed on screen.

After watching Ranveer’s character of Allaudin Khilji, we were actually speechless; his loud acting and the different shades that he portrayed were amazing. Personally, I feel that this is the best character of Ranveer ever.
