Every year thousands of child sexual abuse cases come under notice but an equal amount of them just go neglected. Various studies show that the suspect in these cases generally comes out as a known person. It is always said that a kid finds it easy to put his/her trust more over a known person than someone unknown.
Little people know that it becomes difficult for the victim to let his/her parents know about the abuse as they themselves are not aware of it. This miscommunication leaves some really devastating effects on the victim’s mind. The world these days is experiencing various demonic activities by humans and one of them is ‘Child Sexual Abuse’.
A similar heart wrecking incident happened in Brazil with this little girl. A five-year-old kid who was constantly being sexually abused by the priest who was her teacher. The incident came under notice by the victim’s parents when they discovered several sketches from her room.
Those were the heart-breaking sketching demonstrating the priest sexually assaulting her.
The girl was behaving abnormal, she was not able to concentrate on her daily activities. It was so disturbing that the parents decided to consult a child psychologist.
The psychologist told that the girl is undergoing something really disturbing and that can some form of abuse. The doctor also asked the parents to search for the signs and that’s when the parents of the girl found those six horrifying illustrations from her bedroom.
The girl was assaulted by the 54-year-old Father Joao da Silva. He used to come to teach her English. After parents confrontation, the priest accepted his crime and is now in custody.
Parents do ask their children to avoid talking to strangers but they fail to educate them about the good touch and the bad touch. It is an advice to the parents to make their children aware of what ‘child sexual abuse’ is. It is an urge to the schools and educational institutions that they also should take an active part in educating the children in these aspects.
