The Cricket World T20 has reached the knock-out stage now and in a couple of days, we will get to know the finalists of the tournament. Other than the semi-finalist teams, all other teams have returned to their homes and amazingly, some of them have won the hearts of cricket fans despite losing the match.
Afghanistan is a new cricket team in the International arena but they have impressed audiences with their sheer passion and performance. What’s more, they executed a big upset when they defeated West Indies in the league matches. The result of this match did not affect the prospects of West Indies but it did increase the stature of Afghanistan team in the cricket arena.
Afghanistan team got a wonderful reception from their countrymen when they reached Afghanistan as the citizens were quite delighted with the performance of their team in the World T20.
