A girl in UK was murdered brutally by her boyfriend when she ended their relationship. Laura Davies (21) was brutally killed by her boyfriend Jordan Taylor (22) in Basildon, Essex. Laura was stabbed with a knife for about 80 times by Jordan when she told him that their relationship is over.
The attack took place in July last year and it was so powerful that even the knife bent badly, as told to the Chelmsford Crown Court yesterday.
Jordan is an unemployed youth and he is facing the trial, pleading not guilty of murder.
In the words of Prosecutor Peter Gair, “We say her life was taken by this man during a sustained and brutal attack with a knife. She suffered 80 knife wounds to her body. The attack was as a direct result of her telling the defendant that their relationship was over.”
Laura was found injured near Essex Horse and Pony Protection Society in Pitsea. She died hours after she was airlifted to hospital.
Prosecutor Peter Gair told to metro.Uk, “Whether it was motivated by jealousy or anger or a mixture of both and other emotions, he exacted a terrible revenge on her which caused her to die at the scene.”
The judges were told by the prosecution that Laura was attacked by Jordan in the flat; she ran to save herself but was caught by Jordan who killed her in Wishing Well area and dumped her body in nearby bushes.
She was stabbed at least 80 times, as found in post-mortem examination, Gair stated, “She suffered defensive wounds, suggesting she had been fighting for her life.”
On the night of her murder, Laura cooked food for both of them and wanted to end the relationship but she didn’t want Jordan to move out as she didn’t want to make him homeless. The case is still going on.
