The playful interaction between the two former cricketers took off after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a congratulatory post, celebrating Jay Shah, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah for being named among the most powerful Indians.
Michael Vaughan couldn’t resist taking a dig and reshared the post with a tongue-in-cheek query, “What number is Wasim Jaffer?”

In response, Wasim Jaffer took a witty swipe, referencing Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan’s well-known physical trait. “Like I had said before, extra ungli Hrithik ke paas hai par karta Michael Vaughan hai,” he quipped.
