This is really the heights of superstition that whenever users see any post on Facebook which requires them to ‘Like’ it, type some ‘number’ or ‘character’ and then press ‘Enter’. Now a natural question arises as to why people do it? Here’s the answer- there is a pic, sometimes eye-catching, and instruction attracts people by giving them the temptation of some magic which will happen as you follow them. This statement does not need any support of proof in view of the fact that we come across such posts on a regular basis and what’s even more surprising is that despite knowing nothing unusual is going to happen, Facebook users are caught in their trap and do what all the instructions say! Isn’t that stupid and idiotic? Indeed, it is……
On one hand, we say that India has developed a lot and gone are the days when Indians were chained in shackles of superstition and myth; however, after seeing posts like this and people’s reaction on these, I feel ashamed and get compelled to think why people make false claims of being smart and intelligent.
Here we present you a post by a girl who posted the following image and asked users to comment 7. You won’t believe more than 5 lac Indians fell for this silly thing. Even more shockingly, there were about 100 comments in just 1 second.
Unbelievable yet true……
