The Indian cricket team will travel to West Indies soon as it is scheduled to play 2 test matches, 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is over there but fans are eagerly waiting for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 which is slated to be played in India from 5 October 2023.
The Indian cricket fans want their team to win the ODI World Cup at any cost as last time India won the World Cup in 2011 under the leadership of MS Dhoni and also because the Indian team hasn’t won an ICC trophy since 2013 Champions Trophy.
The excitement of fans is going to increase further as the International Cricket Council has announced the schedule of 2023 Cricket World Cup. ICC took to Twitter and tweeted the schedule with the caption, “GET YOUR CALENDARS READY! The ICC Men’s @cricketworldcup 2023 schedule is out now #CWC23”.

10 teams will participate in the tournament, 8 teams are already finalized and the remaining two will be decided after the Qualifier tournament will get over by July 9. Each team will be playing against the nine other teams in the league phase and then four teams will play the knockout phases and the semi-final.
The opener of the tournament will be played between the finalists of 2019 ODI World Cup (England and New Zealand) at Narendra Modi stadium, Ahmedabad and India will start its campaign on 8 October with a match against Australia at Chennai.

India has a good chance of winning the World Cup 2023 as it will have the home advantage but at the end of the day, the team which will play better will win the match and the tournament as well.
