Ignoring Drought-Hit Farmers Could Lead To A “Bloody Revolution” Says Nana Patekar - RVCJ Media

Clad in a kurta-pyjama, his sleeves rolled up, actor Nana Patekar holds up a mike and reads out names of farmer suicide widows. With a gentle touch of his hand on their shoulder, the 64-year-old doles out cheques worth Rs. 15,000 followed by a quick namaste. Helping farmers, Mr Patekar says, is now his life’s mission.

Nana Patekar is helping hundreds of farmers and urges people to help them too, as he himself has suffered this situation and knows how painful it is. Not only this, he keeps on saying that ignoring drought-hit farmers could lead to a “Bloody Revolution”. If we don’t give them assistance when they need it badly, they can kill us too instead of committing suicide and in that situation, we would be the one to force him to be a naxal. Besides, Nana Patekar said a lot more things regarding this but for that you need to watch the video.
