The crime graph in Uttar Pradesh is continuously on the rise and if any police officer tries to curb that by taking action against the law breakers, he is transferred by the government the next day.

Vaibhav Krishna, a dynamic police officer who was posted as the SP of Ghazipur district was praised by the local citizens for dealing with ferocious criminals with a hard hand. But how this can be digested by SP leaders and one SP leader and Minister Kailash Yadav was pretty miffed with the way SP Vaibhav was handling the goons in tough manner. This was the first posting of Vaibhav Krishna as SP and in his first posting only he got the reward for strictly implementing Law and Order.

In connection with the murder of Manoj Singh, who used to work as a manager in a liquor company, police got some solid evidence against Amarnath Yadav. Amarnath Yadav is a powerful person in the city as he is a close aide to UP Minsiter Kailash Yadav and his power increased more when his wife became Block Pramukh on the ticket of Samajwadi Party.

UP minister pressurized SP Vaibhav Krishna for not taking any action against Amarnath Yadav but SP was not in mood to give anyone else priority other than Law.

On Thursday, SP booked Amarnath Yadav in the murder case and he and his police team starting searching for him.

Next morning came the reward for SP Vaibhav Krishna for fulfilling his duty properly and that was – transfer from Ghazipur district.

As per the media reports, the local citizens are supporting SP Vaibhav Krishna for taking action against Amarnath Yadav, who is well known for his criminal activities and they are also protesting against the government’s order of transferring SP from the district, and demanding the government to rebuke the transfer order. Ghazipur has earlier also produced infamous mafia like Mukhtar Ansari.
