Turia and Michael fell in love with each other during their school days and had absolutely no doubt that they have met their perfect life-partner.
This is what Turia posted on Instagram about her engagement, “I am stoked to have this beautiful man in my life. You bring out the best in me and I can’t wait for the rest of our lives together.”
Even a tragedy in Turia’s life was not able to reduce Michael’s love for her!
Turia got burned up to 65% when she was caught in a bushfire in a 100 km marathon in Kimberley in 2011.
Her body suffered so much that her fingers and thumb of right hand were lost and she underwent 200 surgeries during the period of five months when she was in hospital.
Michael was standing beside Turia all this time and this incident had no effect on his love for Turia.
In fact, he proposed her when she was in ICU in Maldives and was undergoing treatment.
Since four years, Turia is in the process of giving her life a new start and Michael has extended his full support to her during all this time.
It won’t be incorrect to say that this tragedy has further strengthened their bonding. Michael states that his fiancée is “beautiful” and incredible.
He has moved to Western Australia after leaving his job of a police officer, so that he can be with his girlfriend and take care of her.
The true love is difficult to find in the modern world but it still exists in this world and this story proves it completely.
