Facebook asked me “What’s on my mind?” I typed ‘Him… Well this is story of a 22-year-old India girl who went all the way to marry a guy in Pakistan much against the wish of all… The reason being ‘LOVE’. The Pakistani guy Ijaz Khan who stays on the mountainous Kalam valley of Swat District married Mehrunissa. She arrived at Pakistan with proper visa, and then went on to marry Ijaz Khan, but they disclosed their affair only 3 days before the Visa was about to expire.
They applied for the renewal of the Visa but it was rejected by the Pakistan government. However, Mehrunissa thinks that if she was deported back to her country, she would be facing threats to her life from the anti-Pakistani organizations, since she fled from her home in India and married Ijaz Khan out of her own wish.
Previously also, a girl from the US married a Pakistani boy from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) after they met on Facebook. This Facebook Friendship that turned into a love affair and now marriage is really a powerful sign how digital love is getting stronger day by day.
