Sushma Swaraj is the first one to come forward and offer support to people in distress, don’t you agree? The External Affairs Minister is very active on Twitter and within minutes of leaving a tweet, she will get back to you with the solution.
She has always been in news for her good deeds and her Twitter handle is filled with praises for her. Recently, we reported about how Sushma Swaraj went beyond the boundaries of religion and extended her helping hand. Yes, amidst all this tension between India-Pakistan, the minister assured a group of Pakistani girls (Who were in India to attend Global Youth Peace Festival) that they will reach home safe and sound.
Now, one more incident has come to light wherein the Minister united an Indian groom with his Pakistani bride. This might sound filmy, but this actually happened.
Well the groom from Jodhpur named Naresh Tewani had no option but to Ping Sushma Swaraj for help, after he realized that the Indian Embassy in Karachi hadn’t sanctioned the visas and travel papers of his Pakistani bride Priya Bachchani (Daughter of a Doctor) as well as her family. Their marriage is just a month away i.e. 7th of November, and such problems have happened.

Tewani, who was touched by this gesture of the Minister said that;
“The minister has been quite responsive to tweets by people in trouble and they have received aid from her. Seeing her willingness to resolve the troubles of those in need, we have knocked on her twitter account.”
Owing to this rising tension between the nations, Tewani and his family were quite worried about this marriage, but Sushma Swaraj was quick enough to resolve this problem.
