India’s Micromax Beats Korea’s Samsung To Become Largest Smartphone Vendor

Samsung got its market share strong in India as Research recently revealed that Micromax is going to steal the attention. Gradually it’s becoming people’s first choice over Samsung. Records showing that it has the highest share in India with regards to mobile phone shipments at 17 per cent with Samsung in second at 14 per cent. It was even evident that Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi beat out Samsung in China. Well…when talking about our country, it’s definitely great that India is quite pleased and poised at the quality its delivering. After all it’s made in India!

According to the survey released by canalys, Micromax now has 22% of the market share for smart phones compared to Samsung’s 20% in the Q4:-

It wasn’t easy of this Desi brand to grab over the market as Samsung was too superior to beat out; but not only simply by the means of better marketing but a combination of pricing, timing and offering that did the trick and it raised. Its features, looks at affordable price making a grand success and helping it become the tenth largest handset brand worldwide. In one word it is simply incredible.

Along with this Indian crackerjack, smartphones from Chinese players like Xiaomi, Gionee etc is too going to change Indian market drastically.
