The Indian city of Lucknow witnessed some really very heavy rainfall in the last couple of days and lives of the citizens came to a standstill as the city got waterlogged and electricity supply got disrupted for many hours in numerous parts of the city. Not only there was a loss of property but some lives were lost due to few unfortunate incidents and locals of the city are claiming that this is the first time that it has rained so much in the City of Nawabs.

While people are already dealing with a lot of problems, the Indian Meteorological Department has announced further heavy rains in some areas of Uttar Pradesh along with Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. This news is quite concerning as it will worsen the situation further, the administration is on an alert in order to handle any unforeseen circumstances.
