Nowadays, reality shows have become a good platform for promotion of films. Since these shows enjoy good TRPs, every filmmaker wishes to address a huge audience by making the film stars appear on them. However, it seems, Hrithik doesn’t like this way!
Contestants of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa were eagerly waiting for Hrithik Roshan to appear on the show and had already started their preparations for the same. Jhalak had roped in Hrithik Roshan for promoting his upcoming flick ‘Mohenjo Daro’, but he has disappointed everyone by opting out of it at the last minute. Contestants are extremely sad as all their plans have been shattered now. The reason why Hrithik refused to promote the movie isn’t clear yet.
There were also reports that even ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ had approached the actor to promote ‘Mohenjo Daro’ but he refused to them too, owing to the roast format of the show.
As per reports, sources say
“Comedy Nights Bachao started on a good note, however, it recently got embroiled in controversies. Top of that, the roast format isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Hrithik, thus, backed out from Comedy and Jhalak both.”
Not only Hrithik but even Akshay Kumar refused to back out from these shows for the promotion of his movie ‘Rustom’. If reports are to believed Colors offers a combo offer to the celebrities and insists them to appear on both the shows that is Jhalak and Comedy Nights Bachao.
Akshay Kumar is against going on ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ after last time’s tiff. Remember he slapped Siddharth Jadhav since he had passed racist remarks on Lisa Haydon? After all this, Akshay might not be seen on this show, but still discussions are going on.
