Ron Malhotra has now come forward to share his opinion on the topic of “Indoctrination,” saying that people have been fed tons of pieces of misinformation about things, situations, cultures and the like, which has led them to share the same social media and spread more hate among each other. To bring this to people’s notice, he gave a speech on the topic, the video of which soon went viral on social media and gained great response in the form of likes, shares and views.
The much-talked-about business advisor, wealth specialist and thought leader had recently spoken about indoctrination, saying that it has become so easy to manipulate minds and play around with data in an information-centric world. People are often found choosing convenient narratives, joining them together and creating a whole new false narrative, which fools people at large around the world and takes them away from the truth. Most of these pieces of misinformation and lies have been spread through social media, and people often get trapped into believing the same.
Hence, he suggested people in the video (which was trimmed out of a long speech and reposted on a page on Instagram called Adultsociety) that people should learn to develop their critical thinking skills and become more self-aware individuals who can differentiate between right and wrong. This he explains by pulling out his own self-help book, “Indoctrinated,” which says the same thing and encourages people to be aware of their decisions and choices in life.
