The Britain trip of Indian Prime Minister was the most talked topic for Indian media, and why shouldn’t it be, PM Modi got such a warm welcome in UK, not just from the politicians but also from the NRI community living in UK.
However, there was a second side of the coin as well, there were protests against PM Modi which the Indian media ignored but the Pakistani media gave full attention to all the activities which were against PM Modi.
PM Modi has always been questioned about the Godhra riots, Gujarat which took place in 2002 when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. And this time also during a combine press meet when PM Modi was addressing media with the British PM David Cameron, a journalist asked PM Modi that despite the fact that he will be given a big reception in Wembley stadium, there are people who believe that given your past record as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, you don’t deserve the respect that you are getting.
The Pakistani media is highlighting the issue to the maximum as they don’t want any chance to criticize the Indian Prime Minister, especially when the whole world is welcoming the Indian Prime Minister.
