Today, at an event in San Francisco, Apple launched the most awaited versions iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, thereby making all the geeks super-happy. Design and Colors!
You can opt for different color variants such as Jet Black, Black, Rose Gold, White and Silver. The phone sports a force-sensitive home button, which looks similar to that of 3D Touch and Force Touch seen on previous versions.
Memory!
There have always been loads of complaints from users that 16 GB capacity is not enough. Well, Apple has taken care of this complaint and has increased its base storage to 32 GB. Time to celebrate as you are going to get double space for all your texts, videos, photos, games, apps and data.
Camera!
Many improvements are made to the camera. The main feature added to this version is that of Optical Image Stabilization. Just like iPhone 6, you can take stable photos on iPhone 7 as well. Moreover, it would be supportive of RAW image files too apart from normal JPG versions. Front camera is upgraded from 5 megapixel to 7 megapixel.
Moreover, iPhone 7 Plus would get dual camera lenses, one being the telephoto lens and other being the wide angle lens. One more good news is that this phone supports up to 10X Zoom.
No Headphones!
In iPhone 7, there is no jack for headphones! But not to worry as these phones are being shipped with Lightning supported first party earbuds. Moreover, there is a Lightning-to-3.5mm headphone jack adapter as well.
Along with all this, Apple even announced ‘Apple Airpods’, the wireless earbuds. Yes, with this, cords are eliminated. They are inbuilt with ‘W1’ microchip technology which enables quick connection of wireless devices.
Once the case of these wireless buds is opened, they would search for nearby Apple devices and get paired easily. Siri can be used without a screen now. However, one disadvantage is that you will have to charge these earbuds every 5 hours.
The case itself acts as a charging station, so you can charge the case and use these earbuds whenever you want to. Moreover, an Apple lightening cable is also given along with it. These aren’t included with the iPhone; if you want to purchase them, you need to pay $159 extra.
Price!
Talking about the price of the iPhone, the starting price is Rs 60,000/-. Price is more if larger screen or larger storage models are chosen. In India, it will be available 7th October onwards while in USA it will be available from 9th September!
