Dale Steyn has been asked to rest due to inflammation in his shoulder. On the account of the state of his health, Dale will not be able to be part of the ongoing season of IPL, RCB management said in a statement.

South African team manager Mohammed Moosajee said in a statement on Thursday a flare-up has been located in his right shoulder and with utmost priority he will be treated as World Cup is just around the corner.

We wish the South African seamer a speedy recovery so that we can see his actions in the upcoming World Cup for his country.
