South African greatest fast bowler Dale Steyn has been ruled out of Royal Challengers Bangalore from the Indian Premier League 2019 remaining season due to an inflammation in his right shoulder.


Dale who joined Royal Challengers Bangalore in the mid-session and only has played two games yet, he came as a replacement of the Australian player Nathan Coulter- Nile.

Steyn made an immediate impact after joining the team and was leading the bowling team. He played a pivotal role in the match against Chennai Super Kings.

Dale Steyn has been asked to rest due to inflammation in his shoulder. On the account of the state of his health, Dale will not be able to be part of the ongoing season of IPL, RCB management said in a statement.
