IPL 2018 has just started but its fever is already spreading everywhere and K L Rahul, player of Kings XI Punjab, surprised everyone while playing against Delhi Daredevils when he scored a half-century in just 14 balls. He played some really wonderful shots and cricket lovers got crazy for him.
It is the fastest IPL half-century and earlier this record of scoring fastest IPL fifty was in the name of Yusuf Pathan who played 15 balls to score a fifty. He played this innings against Sunrisers Hyderabad for Kolkata Knight Riders four years ago but this time, he will be playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad and their first match is against Rajasthan Royals on April 9.
However, now Yusuf has accepted the challenge of scoring a fifty in just 13 balls and this challenge has been given to him by his own younger brother Irfan Pathan who has taken a seat in the commentary box.
Irfan took to Twitter to congratulate K L Rahul and also threw a challenge at Yusuf to score a fifty in 13 balls.
Irfan tweeted, “KL Rahul 👏👏 outstanding innings. Fastest 50 in the ipl @iamyusufpathan bro let’s try for 13 balls now?”

Yusuf also responded to the tweet and expressed his willingness to fulfill the desire of his younger brother. He also praised him for his new role as well as congratulated K L Rahul.
Yusuf tweeted, “Tere liye 13-ball me bhi 50 bana neka try karenge Insha Allah bhai and well played @klrahul11 . Also, it’s lovely to hear you in the commentary box @IrfanPathan hope you’re enjoying the new role. @IPL”

Well, considering the hitting style of Yusuf, it seems that he can score fifty in 13 balls. What do you say?
