Islamic State Claims To Use This SOFT DRINK CAN BOMB On Crashed Russian Plane

Now there is something which can be a cause of worry for the peace loving nations and their airlines. On Wednesday, the official magazine of terrorist organization Islamic State posted a photo of a can of a Schweppes soft drink, which as per their claim was used to blow off a Russian plane over Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula. This incident took place last month and all the 224 passengers were killed in this incident.

The photo showed two other apparatuses, which seem like detonators with the can and if this is what really that blow off the airliner than there is need for some serious thinking to be done on the issue of safety.

Dabiq, the English magazine said this in regard to the Western countries and Russia, “The divided Crusaders of the East and West thought themselves safe in their jets as they cowardly bombarded the Muslims of the Caliphate. And so revenge was exacted upon those who felt safe in the cockpits.”

The governments of the Western countries are of the opinion that most probably the Airbus A321, operated by Metrojet has been blown up by a bomb and a confirmation regarding this opinion has been received from Russia as well on Tuesday. However, Egyptian government has not found any evidence to strengthen this opinion.

The opinion of explosives experts is that this device is capable of blowing up a plane, however it more depends on the location it is placed. The most dangerous place is the fuel line, the cockpit or somewhere near to the skin of fuselage.

Jimmie Oxley, Prof. of Chemistry at the University of Rhode Island said, “The placement is the critical thing.”

The photo of soft drink can also be helpful in tracking IS as the manufacturer of the soda can be find out.

The terrorist organization IS had also published some photos of passports which were of dead Russians and “obtained by the mujahideen”. However, as of nothing can be said about the validity of the photos.

IS has claimed that they placed the bomb in the aeroplane at Sharm al-Sheikh airport taking advantage of a security lapse however the interior minister of Egypt has denied any information regarding this security lapse.

IS’s original plan was to blow up the plane of a country which is a part of US-led coalition but the plan was changed when Russia started its own air strikes in Syria. IS said, “A bomb was smuggled onto the airplane, leading to the deaths of 219 Russians and five other crusaders only a month after Russia’s thoughtless decision.”

The Egyptian branch of IS took the responsibility of air crash but it was rejected by the Egyptian officials quickly as possibility of bombing seemed meager that time.

This was written by the group, “This was to show the Russians and whoever allies with them that they will have no safety in the lands and airspace of the Muslims.”

Russian President Putin has declared a reward of $50 million for anyone who gives information about the attackers, he said this during a meeting at somber Kremlin, “We will find them anywhere on the planet and punish them.”
