It Seems India Is Giving Aamir Khan Many Reasons To Leave The Country Now

As per a report in Economic Times, the e-commerce giant Snapdeal is not in the mood to renew actor Aamir Khan’s contract as the brand ambassador which is going to end this month. Snapdeal signed Aamir in February, 2015 for one year and the contract was renewable but after Aamir’s controversial “leaving India” comments that he made in November, Snapdeal has maintained a little distance from him.

Ever since, Snapdeal also made its viewpoint clear by issuing the statement according to which, “Snapdeal is neither connected nor plays a role in comments made by Aamir Khan in his personal capacity. Snapdeal is a proud Indian company built by passionate young Indians focused on building an inclusive digital India.”

However, still Snapdeal suffered a huge blow as the netizens started giving low votes to the Snapdeal App as a way of protesting and a good number of smartphone users uninstalled the App too. Nevertheless, there has been no official announcement in this regard from the company. At this point, it deserves to be mentioned that Aamir has been removed from the Incredible India campaign as well.
