Kolkata Knight Riders is one of the most successful franchises of the IPL as it has won the IPL title two times and the franchise enjoys huge fan following not just because of the superb cricket that its cricketers play but also for the fact that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is its co-founder.
Recently, KKR attracted a lot of attention on the social media platforms because of the tweet which it made in reference to a fielding set up which was seen in the fourth test match between England and Australia in the Ashes 2021-22.
KKR posted an image from the fourth test match along with an image from an IPL match which was played between Rising Pune Supergiants (now defunct) and KKR. RPS and Gujarat Lions (now defunct) replaced Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2016 and IPL 2017 as both these franchises were banned for two years. In IPL 2016, MS Dhoni led RPS and in a match against KKR, the then skipper of KKR Gautam Gambhir tested the defense of MS Dhoni by setting up the field in test match style.
KKR posted both the photos with the caption, “That moment when a classic move in test cricket actually reminds you of a T20 master stroke!”

The tweet was soon noticed by the Indian cricketer and CSK player Ravindra Jadeja.
He responded with, “It’s not a master stroke! Just a show off” with laughing emoji.

Jadeja has played for CSK for majority of his IPL career but during IPL 2016, he was bought by Suresh Raina-led Gujarat Lions. CSK is the second most successful team in the IPL with four title wins including the victory of IPL 2021 when it defeated KKR in the finals.
