Jonty Rhodes may have played cricket for South Africa but he is one of the most loved cricketers in the cricket obsessed nation India. It won’t be incorrect to say that he is an inspiration for the young cricketers and he has made people understand that saving runs while fielding is as important as scoring runs while batting.
The Indian cricket team is presently in West Indies and after winning the T20I and ODI series, now they are clashing with the hosts in the test series. In the first innings, India scored 297 runs in which Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja also made a good contribution of 58 runs.
For the uninitiated, Jadeja is known more because of his wonderful fielding skills despite the fact that he is a good batsman as well as bowler. Jonty took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to praise Jadeja in his own style.
He tweeted,

Jonty was quite happy with Jadeja’s performance but his tweet didn’t go well with one of the fans of Jadeja who reverted with stats to make Jonty understand that the Indian cricketer is far better than him. What’s more, he also made a comparison between him and Jadeja, saying that the latter is known for his batting and bowling too while the former is known just for his fielding.

The tweet was insulting in nature but Jonty is a cool person and he gave a wonderful reply to the troller, as he wrote,
