Padmavati movie is grand in every sense. Right from the star cast to the costumes, everything looks promising. Recently, the 3D trailer of the film was out & it increased our curiosity all the more. Well, the movie is doing rounds of social media not only for the star cast & for the grandeur but also for Deepika Padukone’s high pay cheque.
Yes, it is being said that Deepika’s payment is higher than that of Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. If it’s true, it will surely create a new trend in the history of Bollywood. So, people are eager to know what the truth is.
Few days back, even we had followed the buzz & reported that Deepika is earning 11 crores, while Ranveer and Shahid are earning 8 crores and 6 crores respectively. Even journalists are trying hard to find out the actual amount. Now, during the launch of Padmavati’s 3D trailer, a journalist asked Deepika how much she is getting and also asked if she’s getting a higher amount than her co-stars.
To this, Deepika had the best response. She said,
“Talking about my remuneration isn’t exciting. But I am proud and confident about the money I get. You are comfortable with what you are paid. But what makes me happy is that they (producers) have invested so much money in a film which has a poster featuring me on it. That makes me proud.”
Deepika handled the question very smartly; she didn’t wish to reveal the details in public, which is why she gave a smart reply.
