Journalist Rana Ayyub Posted “Diwali Mubarak” On Holi! Twitterati Trolled Her Left & Right!

Everybody has soaked into the colorful spirit of Holi. This festival holds a great importance in India and everyone is busy celebrating it in a unique way. Colors, water and yummy delicacies are just inseparable. Since people have busy schedules these days, they prefer sharing Holi messages on social media instead of visiting friends and relatives.

Yes, social media platforms are a great way to wish people and share updates, especially on festivals. However, the only drawback of social media is that even if one mistake is made in the post, people start trolling like crazy. A similar thing happened with Rana Ayyub, the famous Indian journalist, who took to Twitter to wish everyone a Happy Holi.

While posting the message, she made a BLUNDER. She posted a picture of Gujiyas, the famous Holi delicacy, and wrote “Diwali Mubarak” instead of Holi wishes. She’s very famous for her anti-BJP outlook and so, while trolling her, people highlighted that aspect too.

Check out what she tweeted;

Here’s how people trolled her crazily!

Still in shock over BJP win!

Lol, she must be regretting her decision of posting a Holi message. Being a journalist, she should carefully check what’s being posted because thousands of people follow her.

We hope that next time, she reads the message twice before posting it. What’s your take on this? Do share in our comments section below.
