Journo Asks Ravindra Jadeja, “What If AFG Loses To NZ?” Jadeja’s Reply Will Leave You In Splits

The Indian cricket team is all set to play its next match in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 against Namibia on 8th Nov which will be played at Dubai International Cricket Ground. India needs to win this match with a big margin and it will also keep an eye on the match which will be played between New Zealand and Afghanistan on 7th Nov at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, because if New Zealand wins, India’s hope of entering the semi-finals will get thrashed; however if Afghanistan wins, India may qualify for the semi-finals on the basis of the better run-rate.

As far as India’s campaign in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 is concerned, it started pretty bad with a humiliating defeat against Pakistan and then it lost to New Zealand by 8 wickets. Nevertheless, India made a comeback in the match against Afghanistan and registered a comfortable win and in its last match which was against Scotland, India not only restricted Scotland at a meager score of 85 runs in 17.4 overs but also registered a thumping victory by achieving the target in just 6.3 overs (81 balls remaining) with 8 wickets in hand. While KL Rahul scored a fifty in only 18 balls, Rohit Sharma played a useful innings of 30 runs and helped his team in winning the match easily.

Ravindra Jadeja, the Indian all-rounder, was adjudged as the player of the match for his superb bowling as he took 3 wickets in his 4 overs and gave only 15 runs. Jadeja attended the post-match conference and while answering one of the journalists, he made a statement which made netizens laugh out loud.

The journalist asks Jadeja that it is being said we have a chance of playing in the semi-finals if Afghanistan defeats New Zealand but what will happen if the Kiwis defeat Afghanistan. In reply, Ravindra Jadeja said, “Toh phir bag pack kar ke ghar jayenge aur kya” (We will pack our bags and go home, what else).
