Varun Dhawan is on the way of becoming the biggest superstar of the Hindi film industry as with “Judwaa 2”, he has given the 9th consecutive hit of his career with zero flops. Moreover, it seems that this film is going to be the fastest Varun Dhawan movie to reach the 100 crore club.
Talking about the third day collections of “Judwaa 2”, the flick earned whopping Rs. 22.60 crore on Sunday and with this collection, it defeated Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan. Yes, that’s right! Salman Khan’s “Tubelight” earned Rs. 22.45 crores on its third day while Akshay’s “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha” earned Rs. 21.25 crores.

First Day – Rs 16.10 crore
Second Day – Rs 20.55 crore
Third Day – Rs 22.60 crore
Total – Rs 59.25 crore

With the weekend ending on Sunday, the movie has already grossed Rs. 59.25 crores and with Monday (October 2 – Gandhi Jayanti) being a holiday, it seems that many records will be broken by “Judwaa 2” and the total collections will reach the 80 crore mark pretty comfortably.
“Judwaa 2” is the remake of 1997 Salman Khan starrer “Judwaa” and the director of the movie is David Dhawan, who also directed the original one.
Varun has impressed audience a lot with his acting skills! Playing two characters which are entirely opposite to each other is a very tough task but he has done it flawlessly. What’s more, he has looked quite natural in love scenes with his two hot heroines Taapsee and Jacqueline.
