Kaabil Director Sanjay Gupta wasn’t really happy about the clash. We all know how the Kaabil team tried their best to convince Raees Team to postpone their dates so that the clash is avoided.

Even after so many efforts, the clash happened. The movies fared really well at the box office despite the clash, however, if things were better, the results would have been the best.

Nevertheless, the director has moved on from the clash or maybe not. The director posted cryptic tweet last night on his Twitter. It wasn’t a direct dig or remark but we all knew at whom it was directed.

He tweeted, “KARMA, you beauty! I love and believe in you so much. I love how you go after all that f*** with you. KARTAM BHUKTAM on Independence Day.”

This tweet was in reference to the clash of Shah Rukh Khan’s next with Anushka Sharma clashing with Akshay Kumar’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha. Sadly, the director deleted the tweet as soon as he was trolled by Shah Rukh Khan’s tweet.

As we all know how Raees was supposed to clash with Sultan but they shifted their dates because major portions of the movie were not completed. Kaabil was already announced and then Raees was also announced on the same date – 25th January, 2017.

Even now, Shah Rukh Khan’s next was announced on 11th Aug, 2017 after Akshay Kumar announced Crack on the same day. As Crack’s shooting is still not completed, Akshay decided to release Toilet Ek Prem Katha before, on the same date on the occasion of Independence Day.

Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar fan clubs were at war in regards to the clash. However, Shah Rukh Khan’s fans lost their cool on Sanjay Gupta’s tweet and trolled him on Twitter. Giving in to the same, he deleted the tweet later this morning.

We don’t know which side to buy, all we think is that box office clashes means loss of business for both the movies. Also, a director of such stature should not give out such tweets, even if they do, they should maintain the stand strongly than delete it. What do you guys think?
