Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were said to be in a relationship at one point of time but then they broke-up for the reasons best known to them and currently, Katrina is happily married to actor Vicky Kaushal. However, both Salman and Katrina are professionals and they keep their personal lives separate from their professional lives because of which they have no problem in working together even after their break-up and Katrina’s marriage.
Recently, Kabir Khan, the director of “Ek Tha Tiger”, attended a podcast with some other directors and he made an interesting revelation. Kabir said that before choosing Salman for the role of Tiger, he was thinking of signing Katrina for the role of Zoya but it was the stage when they both had broken-up and they weren’t comfortable working together. After “Ek Tha Tiger”, Salman and Katrina have worked in two movies of the franchise and both the films were also big hits at the box-office.
The other directors who also appeared on the podcast were Farah Khan, Raj & DK, Imtiaz Ali and Hansal Mehta. Farah Khan interestingly revealed that many big actors refused the negative role in “Main Hoon Na” until Suniel Shetty took it up and performed it brilliantly.
Imtiaz Ali revealed that Alia Bhatt was very happy while working in “Highway” because she had so much to do in the movie and he also talked about casting the “Animal” actor Ranbir Kapoor in “Tamasha” and “Rockstar”. Raj & DK also spoke about their hit series “The Family Man” and said that the lead actor of the show wouldn’t have changed so much if Manoj Bajpayee hadn’t joined the show.
Well, it seems that every director has a story to tell about his movies and actors.
