Dear Zindagi is in its 2nd week and is still ruling the hearts of the audience. On Friday, the collections were super-low i.e. just 2.25 crores, but once again, it has picked pace on the weekend.
The SRK starrer is facing tough competition from Vidya Balan’s movie “Kahaani 2″, so collections are bound to drop. Let us have a look at the 9th day collections of Dear Zindagi;
#DearZindagi shows 55.56% growth on Sat… [Week 2] Fri 2.25 cr, Sat 3.50 cr. Total: ₹ 52.75 cr. India biz.

Woaahh, the movie has finally entered the 50 crores club. On its 9th day, Dear Zindagi earned 3.50 crores, bringing the total to 52.75 crores, isn’t that amazing? Hope to see good collections on Sunday too!
Day 1- 8.75 crores!
Day 2- 11.25 crores!
Day 3- 12.50 crores!
Day 4- 4.25 crores!
Day 5- 4 crores!
Day 6- 3.25 crores!
Day 7- 3 crores!
Day 8- 2.25 crores!
Day 9- 3.50 crores!
Total- 52.75 crores!
Despite competing with another movie, such numbers are indeed very good.
Kahaani 2
On the other hand, “Kahaani 2” had a decent start and it raked Rs 4.25 crores on the 1st day. The fate of the movie changed on Saturday as it witnessed a boost in the collections. Let us see how much it earned.
#Kahaani2 saw 36.24% growth on Day 2… Sun should add to a respectable total… Fri 4.25 cr, Sat 5.79 cr. Total: ₹ 10.04 cr [1235 screens].

Now, with 5.79 crores, the total has reached 10.04 crores, which is not at all bad considering the limited screens i.e. 1235. We are not sure whether the movie would see a growth in the coming week or will witness a declining trend.
Day 1- 4.25 crores!
Day 2- 5.79 crores!
Total- 10.04 crores!
From Monday there are chances of collections going low, but since Vidya Balan and Arjun Rampal’s acting has received praises, we can’t predict anything.
