Indian actress Kangana Ranaut has always been candid about her personal life and unafraid to speak her mind. As a result, her relationships have often attracted as much attention as her film career. Years ago, she was reportedly involved with actor Aditya Pancholi who was married to Zarina Wahab and had children. Later, she claimed to have been in a relationship with Hrithik Roshan who also has two sons. Because of these relationships, many people on social media accused her of pursuing married men.
In a recent interview, Kangana responded to these accusations, saying society often blames women in such situations. She explained that when a young woman is approached by a married man, people still blame her instead of questioning the man. She compared this to victims of s*xual assault being blamed for their clothing or being out late at night, saying it reflects a deeply flawed mindset.
Kangana’s relationship with Aditya Pancholi reportedly began when she was just 17. She later filed a police complaint against him in 2019, accusing him of physical abuse and r@pe. She said it was a painful time in her life and that she felt trapped, even turning to Zarina Wahab for help. She described an incident where he hit her on the head, leading her to fight back physically before filing an FIR. She emphasised that she was a minor at the time, younger than Pancholi’s own daughter, and felt completely overwhelmed when she entered the film industry.
Regarding Hrithik Roshan, Kangana has often stated that they were romantically involved during the filming of Krrish 3, though Hrithik has publicly denied this several times. He has said that there is no legal case between them because, according to him, in India, a man cannot claim to be stalked.
Beyond her personal life, Kangana’s career has been remarkable. She made her debut with Gangster in 2006 and soon appeared in Woh Lamhe and Life In a Metro. Her role in Fashion in 2008 won her a National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her performances in Queen and Tanu Weds Manu Returns brought her massive popularity and critical acclaim. Over the years, she has won four National Awards and continues to take on challenging roles. Recently, she acted in and directed the film Emergency, once again proving her talent and versatility in the Indian film industry.
Kangana’s life has been filled with both turbulence and triumph but she remains known for her strength, outspokenness and determination to live life on her own terms.
