Kapil Mishra Blames BJP For The Shoe Attack On Delhi CM Kejriwal. Here’s Why

Aam Aadmi Party has accused a senior leader of Delhi BJP for the yesterday’s incident in which a shoe was thrown on the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal during a press conference. AAP has stated in its press release that Ved Prakash, the person who threw the shoe, was in communication with a BJP leader and in fact just before the incident, he called the BJP leader.

Kapil Mishra, the culture minister of Delhi tweeted, “Call details of Ved Prakash should be probed. He called a BJP Delhi leader right before attacking.”

However, neither Kapil Mishra nor his party is ready to disclose the name of the BJP leader but if we believe the sources, party workers and official of Delhi government did check the phone of Ved Prakash.

Here Is The Press Release Of Aam Aadmi Party:

Aam Aadmi Party strongly condemns the sinister conspiracy to attack the Delhi Chief Minister Mr Arvind Kejriwal during a press conference to announce the roadmap for Odd/Even plan at the Delhi Secretariat on Saturday.

It is clear that the irrelevant opposition in Delhi, particularly the BJP, which is jealous of the popularity of the AAP government, is regularly conspiring to divert attention from the real pro-people agenda of the government.

AAP states with full responsibility that this attacker was in touch with the BJP, particularly with a leader of Delhi BJP unit.

The call records of this attacker should immediately be looked into by the Delhi Police and it will be crystal clear in a minute with whom this hoodlum was in touch.

It will be better for the BJP to voluntarily disclose its link with the attacker and its paid front – the so called Aam Aadmi Sena.

BJP needs to understand that its frustrated attempts will not succeed in Delhi and it should fight the AAP government politically rather than stooping to such shameful levels.

Such dirty tricks orchestrated by political opponents of the AAP will not deter the Delhi government from continuing its pro-people measures and agenda.

Satish Upadhyay, President of Delhi BJP also reacted to the incident and he tweeted, “Whether it was stage managed or a real protest, hurling shoe on CM is wrong. But Kejriwal must realise anguish of Delhites ag #OddEven scam.”

AAP has alleged that BJP is trying to distract public’s focus from the Delhi government’s real “pro-people agenda”.

Kumar Vishwas, AAP leader said that this reveals the disappointment of opposition before the Punjab polls as AAP is going to defeat them. He said, “Dear Conspirators, this #OddEven is going to grace your Aaka’s (boss) a big Zero in Punjab keep on throwing your frustrations wrapped in Ink-Shoes.”

Mahesh Sharma, the Union Culture minister has also condemned the incident; nevertheless, he also advised the AAP leader to “introspect” as to why he is being targeted repeatedly. He said, “I do not support this act. This type of activity should not be there in democratic country. But, there is a question which arises about why such things happen to him repeatedly.”

Ved Prakash, the culprit calls himself the general secretary of Aam Aadmi Sena, a group which separated from AAP and was upset with the CM as he is not interested in taking action against those who are responsible for the alleged discrepancies in the CNG stickers distribution.
