Kapil Sharma Gets Trolled By Twitteratis For Supporting AAP’s Candidate!

Punjab elections are just around the corner and the campaigning from various political heavyweights has increased quite significantly. AAP is expected to repeat their Delhi performance in Punjab too but Navjot Singh Sidhu’s arrival has changed the equation a bit. Support for AAP got a major boost though as one of India’s most loved comedian Kapil Sharma voiced his support to AAP and asked the people of Punjab to vote for his friend Gurpreet Singh Waraich (aka Ghuggi).

Kapil Sharma and his interest in politics has however never been a happy affair. Whenever Kapil Sharma has went anywhere close to politics, he has only landed himself in trouble. First when he tweeted about the growing corruption, he ended up landing himself in legal trouble. This time he got even closer to politics and shared a video wherein he asked Punjabis to vote for his friend Ghuggi in pure Punjabi language.

Gurpreet Singh Waraich is an AAP candidate from Bhatala constituency. Gurpreet came on as a replacement for AAP’s previous candidate Sucha Singh Chhotepur who was fielded by AAP for the same constituency. Sucha Singh’s video had earlier gone viral which showed him accepting bribes in exchange of poll tickets.

AAP’s official twitter handle went out disclosing Kapil’s support to their candidate on social media. This didn’t go very well with the twitteratis who in their usual self launched a troll attack on Kapil instead. Kapil didn’t react to any of the tweets and rather opted to ignore it.

This is the tweet from AAP’s official twitter handle that set the twitteratis rolling!

After that, it all turned out be a nightmare for Kapil as Twitteratis went out all guns blazing against him. Here are a few of those tweets!
