Kapil Sharma has hit the headlines for a variety of reasons. He has been suffering from depression of late and even his new show “Family Time with Kapil” got affected due to it.
Recently, his teammate Ali Asgar revealed many details about Kapil. He said that he met him and saw his bad condition.
Ali said that Kapil was almost in tears when he met him. As per his description, Kapil looked like a child who wanted to speak a lot but couldn’t utter a word. However, Kapil has a very different story to tell.
The comedian has refuted the statement of Ali Asgar and said that it’s all “Lies”. In a recent interview with ABP News, Kapil’s team said,
“We are equally shocked to hear about this ourselves and are surprised that Mr Asgar, whom Kapil Sharma has always considered a friend, would make such hurtful statements.”
Even Kapil spoke to IANS and said,
“What is most damaging and hurtful is when comments are made by those people that you consider your friends and your well-wishers. Over the years, I have always been about my work and that is what continues to drive me. Irrespective of what is said, my work will continue to be my biggest motivation.”
He expressed displeasure over such statements and said,
“It is hurtful to read things which are not true. I am learning to focus only on my work and not pay heed to any negativity. My work is my worship and that’s what means the most to me.”
