Amitabh Bachchan is undoubtedly one of the most respected personalities in Bollywood. Being a megastar he has worked in hundreds of films with almost every renowned name in the industry.
Karan Johar happens to be one of those rare personalities with whom Big B shares a special bonding, more so because he has worked with both Karan and his father Yash Johar in his career.
Karan Johar recently shot for an episode of Unforgettables where he interacted with filmmaker Ramesh Sippy. While speaking he remembered something related to his father and Big B.
He told that his father used to speak in Punjabi with everyone. Mentioning Amitabh Bachchan he said that he also spoke fluent Punjabi when he was not a Punjabi. He said-
“I thought everyone in the film industry was Punjabi because they all spoke in Punjabi. Down the fact that Mr Bachchan who’s not Punjabi spoke fluent Punjabi because it was like ‘When you are in Rome, Do as the Romans do’.”

This is where Amitabh Bachchan felt like correcting him. Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter and replied-
No Karan .. I speak Punjabi because my Mother was as Sikh ; that makes me a half Sikh and so I speak Punjabi .. !!!!
