Varun Dhawan, Saif Ali Khan and Karan Johar didn’t hesitate to discuss about “NEPOTISM” at IIFA Awards. Well, Saif and Karan were hosting the show and they raised this issue; basically, the Karan-Kangana controversy (Wherein Kangana tagged Karan as “Flagbearer of Nepotism”) was brought back on the stage.
When Varun Dhawan came up on the stage for receiving his award, Saif laughed off and said that it is because of his dad David Dhawan that Varun made it big. To this, Varun told Saif that he is there in the industry due to his mom Sharmila Tagore.
Karan joined the league and added, “I am here because of my papa” i.e. late Yash Johar. They even made fun of Kangana in her absence. Karan joked, “There was a song in your film… Bole choodiyan, bole kangana” and then quickly said, “Kangana naa hi bole toh achha hai… Kangana bahut bolti hai.”
At the end, Varun, Saif and Karan shouted, “Nepotism Rocks”. However, this didn’t go down well with Twitter. They didn’t like this joke at all and slammed the trio. Check out the tweets…
