There is no denying the fact that the director of the movie is the captain of the team and all other people should listen to him if they want to make a good film. However, there have been times when we got to witness disputes between Bollywood actors and directors after which they stopped working with each other. Sometimes they put the past behind as well and today we are going to tell you about some big fall-outs that have taken place between actors and directors.

Kareena-Karan To Abhay-Anurag, 5 Most Talked About Actor-Director Fights In Bollywood - RVCJ Media

This is one of the most famous fall-outs as both the actor and the director slammed each other publicly in the interviews that they gave. Anurag Kashyap directed Abhay Deol in “Dev D” which was a modern take on the movie “Devdas”. In an interview, Anurag stated that Abhay wanted to work in parallel cinema but he wanted all the luxuries of a commercial actor. He added that during the filming of “Dev D”, Abhay wanted to stay in a 5-star hotel. Later on, Abhay Deol called Anurag Kashyap a toxic and liar person and also clarified that he did not demand to stay in a 5-star hotel.

2. Kareena Kapoor Khan – Karan Johar:

These two share a very strong bond now but there was a time when they were not on talking terms. Karan Johar has written in his autobiography that after the release of “Mujhse Dosti Karoge”, he asked Kareena to work in “Kal Ho Naa Ho” and she was ready to work on the condition that she will also get the same amount of money that Shah Rukh Khan was getting. KJo said that he refused after which they didn’t talk to each other and after over a year, they patched things up.

3. Salman Khan – Subhash Ghai:

In the year 2001, the Bollywood superstar Salman Khan slapped the famous movie director Subhash Ghai for reasons best known to them and a year later, he even accepted it in public. When Salman’s father Salim Khan who is a very famous writer came to know about it, he not only called Subhash Ghai on phone and apologized but also sent Salman to Ghai’s house for apologizing.

4. Aamir Khan – Amole Gupte:

“Taare Zameen Par” is one of the most favourite movies of many of us, especially of the parents as it tells many things about parenting and it is certainly an eye-opener for the Indian society. Though Aamir Khan was the producer of the movie and he was supposed to act only, he had to take up direction as well because he had creative differences with the director Amole Gupte.

Later on, Amole Gupte slammed Aamir Khan for taking up the credit for direction and Amole Gupte was credited for the script and creative direction.

5. Kartik Aaryan – Karan Johar:

Kartik Aaryan was supposed to work in the sequel of “Dostana” but he was dropped by the makers, Dharma Productions and the reason which was cited for his ouster was Kartik’s unprofessional attitude. Fans of Kartik Aaryan slammed KJo in a brutal manner after that and now it seems that things are fine between them as  Karan Johar was seen praising Kartik Aaryan in an event after the huge success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
