Ever since Gurmeet Ram Rahim has been sentenced to a jail term of 20 years for raping two of his female followers, everyone around seems to be very happy. People have suddenly started having some sort of belief in Indian law which is a great thing moving forward.
However, there is one guy who seems to be happiest among all and he is none other than Kiku Sharda. We reported to you when he took a sarcastic dig on Ram Rahim some days back and now he is back again.
The much-loved comedian was recently at the song launch of an upcoming film “2016 The End” along with his co-actors Divyendu Sharma Rahul Roy, Priya Banerjee, Narendra Jha and director Jaideep Chopra. At the event, he was again noticed taking a dig at Gurmeet Ram Rahim.
A fun interactive session was going on the stage when Kiku introduced Divyendu by saying that he was last seen in Toilet (his last film Toilet Ek Prem Katha).
Divyendu replied the punny comment in the same way and said, “Yes, and you were living in jail.”
Taking a dig on Gurmeet Ram Rahim, Kiku then said: “I went to jail for a day and now sir has gone for 20 years.”
Divyendu asked what he wants to say by that?
He replied: “No, no, I am not taking any credit for that.”
Later, when journalists asked Kiku to comment on the CBI court’s decision about Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s imprisonment, he said-
“Well, things have been proven in the court and now we all know what he did. Justice happened and it was bound to happen, it’s karma. But whatever violence took place (following Ram Rahim’s conviction) was really sad.”
“We shouldn’t have room for violence, we are peace-loving people, and we should stay in peace.”
