Kiran Bedi Shook AAP Leader Kejriwal With A Legal Notice For Baseless Allegation

NEW DELHI: BJP’s chief ministerial nominee Kiran Bedi on Tuesday shook AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal with a legal notice for using her photograph in the party’s poster campaign without her permission.

The poster becomes more offensive as the picture of Kejriwal has the word “imandar” (honest) written below it while that of Bedi addressed as “avsarvadi” that means opportunist. The AAP chose the auto-rickshaws plying in the national capital as one of the strong medium to spread it around.

On this Bharatiya Janata Party’s media convener Praveen Shankar Kapoor says “Yes, she has sent a notice to Kejriwal. He has been asked to ensure that the posters are removed.” The poster was meant to ask the people of Delhi to choose between Kejriwal and Bedi for the post of chief minister.

Well, this is not the first time for him, earlier, fellow party leader Jagdish Mukhi, too, had sent a notice to Kejriwal for using his photograph in similar posters, before the BJP declared Bedi as their chief ministerial candidate.
