Kohli lately made an announcement about his being United Arab Emirates Royals team’s new co-owner in IPTL (International Premier Tennis League). The captain of this team is Roger Federer and IPTL’s second edition will be starting in December this year.

Sachin is a great fan of Roger Federer as well as tennis and showed his happiness for Kohli but at the same time, made up his mind for some humor.

Besides, Virat also expressed how much he loved tennis when he told media, “I have always followed tennis with great interest and today I am glad to be part of a professional tennis league team.”
Virat continued, “I am a huge fan of Roger Federer and with him joining the UAE Royals, my decision to be on board with the team was firm. The UAE Royals feature some of tennis’ greatest players and I am confident about the prospects of the team in the IPTL. I am also excited about the format of the IPTL, which I am sure will drive further interest in the game of tennis.”
However, Twitter users did not seem to get the fun right and they started trolling Virat for this:
