Vinod Khanna breathed his last on the 27th of April 2017 and left everyone in shock. Many B-Town celebrities took to Twitter to express their grief, however, Rishi Kapoor had lashed out at everyone for not attending his funeral. Chintuji was very angry with young celebs because they preferred to miss the funeral for Priyanka Chopra’s party.
The veteran actor stated that these young actors should have an emotional connect and must not miss out on this important thing. Here’s what he had tweeted;
Shameful. Not ONE actor of this generation attended Vinod Khanna's funeral. And that too he has worked with them. Must learn to respect.

When he saw everyone at the prayer meet of Vinod Khanna, he cooled down and thanked them.
After 2 weeks of this episode, Rishi Kapoor has got a hard hitting reply from Kriti Sanon. In an interview with a leading daily, Kriti said
“I would like to believe it was situational. I don’t think the present generation is less attached. I personally am emotional about people who I know and I am around.”
She further added,
“There can be individual reasons for people who knew Vinod Khanna and worked with him, but still were not there (funeral). There might be people who were not in Mumbai or were travelling. I can’t comment on someone as to why they didn’t turn up.”
Kriti is the 1st one to speak up on this matter and she definitely has a valid point. It seems Rishi Kapoor has misunderstood those actors, don’t you think so?
Are you convinced with Kriti Sanon’s answer?
