Mumbai Indians is certainly playing like the champions as they are on the top of the points table with 8 points (4 wins, 2 losses). The last match that they played was against Rajasthan Royals and the player of the match was Suryakumar Yadav who played a spectacular innings of 79 runs not out for which he played only 47 balls.
However, the match will also be remembered for the expressions that Krunal Pandya gave when he was sent to bat. Krunal who scored 12 runs hasn’t got much chance to bat in the earlier matches and in yesterday’s match, he was sent up the order even before his brother Hardik Pandya to bat for MI.
But while batting, Krunal Pandya gave such expressions as if he was bored and this gave enough fodder to the meme artists. As a result, the micro-blogging site Twitter was flooded with jokes and hilarious reactions and here are some of the selected ones:

Talking about the match, MI won the toss and decided to bat. The most successful IPL team posted a huge total of 193 runs with the help of Suryakumar Yadav’s splendid innings who was well supported by the skipper Rohit Sharma (35). Rajasthan Royals batting lineup disappointed its fans big time as no batsman other than Jos Buttler (70) and Jofra Archer (24) was able to show resistance against the MI bowlers and the whole team got out for just 136 runs with 11 balls remaining to bowl.
This is the third straight loss of RR and they need to pull up their socks if they want to make their way in the play-offs. Presently, RR is on the seventh position with 4 points (2 wins, 3 losses) despite the fact that they started their tournament with a bang by defeating CSK in a high scoring match.
By the way, what do you think about the expression given by Krunal Pandya while batting? Truly a meme material, isn’t it?
