Indian Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu has once again showed that you just need to make a tweet and he and his department are at your service. This time he helped parents of a 15-yr girl of 10th grade who ran away from her house in Jharkhand. She eloped with her classmate on Saturday and her parents tweeted about the incident and their daughter’s details to the railway minister.
As stated by a senior railway official, “The girl’s father from Jharkhand tweeted to railway minister Suresh Prabhu that kids are on board Geetanjali Express to Mumbai.”
Her photograph and mobile number were also shared by the parents in the tweet and it was also informed that the train was about to cross Bhusawal station.
The ministry informed Railway Protection Force who swung into action and tracked both the children at Nashik station. Parents of both the kids reached Mumbai by flight while the journey to Nashik would be taken by road.
Narendra Patil, CR’s chief public relations officer maintained, “Both kids are safe. They have been saved from falling in wrong hands.”
