Kulbhushan Jadhav finally got to meet his mother and wife and it was characterized by sadness as well as happy tears.
Wondering why there was sadness around? Well, it’s because Kulbhushan was allowed to meet his family but they were separated by a glass screen. Moreover, the mode of communication was an intercom.
What was more disappointing that in this 40 minutes of meeting, he wasn’t even able to hug them. They communicated in Hindi and Marathi and strict security was deployed to make sure nothing goes wrong.
His wife Chetna broke down many times and it was indeed a sad moment. The meeting happened as per Pakistani laws and was quite emotional.
However, Twitter is very sad as there were no signs of humanity in the meeting. Kulbhushan Jadhav wasn’t even able to get close to his aging mother. In the whole communication, there was a glass screen in between. What must his mother be going through? She was happy to see her son but at the same time, she so wished to hug him once.
This is how Twitter slammed Pakistani government for being shrewd as well as Indian government for being a mute spectator.
So savage?

Shocking that Kulbhushan Jadhav was not allowed to speak in his mother tongue to his mother in Islamabad. Jadhav spoke scripted answers provided by Pakistan Army in English. How low will Pakistan stoop? I can’t imagine what his mother would be going through. #IndiaForJadhav

Why Indian govt why?
Kulbhushan Jadhav doesn’t even look like the same person anymore. His meeting with his wife and mother is just an eyewash to the world. They weren’t even allowed to hug each other. Shame on the Indian Govt for being a mute spectator to this.
