Last week, a brave woman police officer Shreshtha Thakur got too much appreciation on social media, because she stood against BJP leaders and sent 5 of them to jail, as they obstructed her from performing her duties.

She caught Pramod Kumar, a BJP leader, for not wearing a helmet and asked him to pay a fine of Rs 200. Many other BJP leaders objected her, on which the lady officer said that she was just doing her duty. The cop also said that if CM Yogi gives in writing that police doesn’t have rights to take action against BJP leaders, she would accept it.
A video of this verbal spat went viral and soon after that, she was transferred. Actually, BJP leaders pressurized senior officers to transfer her. The Party city president Mukesh Bhardwaj said that transfer was needed because she disrespected BJP and its leaders. Shreshtha was accused of using objectionable language against CM Yogi.
Shreshtha Thakur was transferred to Bahraich (Nepal Border). After being transferred, Thakur gave a befitting reply to Yogi government with a Facebook post.

The English translation of her first two lines is” Wherever it goes, it spreads light. A flame doesn’t have a house of its own.”
Her next two lines read, “Got transfer to Bahraich, it’s Nepal border, don’t worry my friends I am happy ..I accept it as a reward for my good work. .u all are invited to bahraich.”
The best thing about her post was that she updated it as “Feeling Happy”. Instead of crying over this transfer, the lady police officer accepted the decision and gave a mouth-shutting reply.
