Virat Kohli seems to be the country’s most loved batsman; yes, many people even call him the 2nd Sachin Tendulkar owing to his exceptional batting skills. There is also a lot of buzz about his affair with Anushka and people just can’t stop talking about it.
Yesterday, Kohli won the hearts of his fans by showing a fabulous performance and scoring a double century i.e. 235 in the Test series against England and with this he also broke a few records.
Amidst all his fans, there was someone who just loves cricket and wanted to show Virat that he has performed really well. Yes, we are talking about none other than Lata Mangeshkar, who is an ardent cricket fan.
If you remember, Lata Mangeshkar used to cheer Sachin Tendulkar during his matches, because he was her “Favorite” and now, since Sachin has retired, she has switched to Kohli.
Well, the legendary singer took to Twitter and congratulated team India, with a special mention of Virat Kohli. Virat’s stupendous performance impressed her so much that she literally dedicated a classy song for him. She shared her evergreen song “Akash Ke Us Paar Bhi”; this must have filled Virat’s heart with joy.
