One of the renowned French newspapers, Le Monde reportedly denied taking the interview of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The French media came up with this decision after it was denied the permission to interact with Narendra Modi.

According to Le Monde journalist Julien Bouissou, the media was told to publish written answers but were not allowed to take a face-to-face interview with the Indian Prime Minister.

Instead, the Prime Minister’s correspondent has allowed another French Newspaper Le Figaro to take the interview of Narendra Modi.

The Indian Prime Minister is on his three-nation tour. During his four-day visit to France, Modi will have important discussions with President Francois Hollande and meet some VIPs. The topics for the discussion will be related to trade, defence, nuclear and civil.

The leaders of the two countries are also expected to release Franco-Indian stamps. They also took a boat ride on the Siene River to do ‘Naav pe charcha’.

Narendra Modi also visited the World War-1 memorial to pay his tributes to all those Indians who sacrificed their lives while supporting France. The Prime Minister is also expected to go to see UNESCO headquarters, Airbus facility and French space agency office.

After France, the Indian Prime Minister would continue his tour to Germany and Canada as well.
